Most-Played on RFC This Week!

We play thousands of artists and tracks at RADIO FREE CRUZE ONLINE, but it's always interesting to look at what's getting the MOST play...so without further ado...here's the TOP 11!!

PHANTOM PLANET tops the list for last week.  It's a song that we've been playing for quite a while, but the "tumbs-ups" have really solidified for it over the last couple of weeks!  If your image of this band is the stuff from their last album, you really should check this one out.  PP is a really legit band, and this song is a perfect example!

  1. PHANTOM PLANET/Do The Panic (Raise The Dead)
  2. FRANZ FERDINAND/Lucid Dreams (Third Album)
  3. THE AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT/Sometime Around Midnight (The Airborne Toxic Event)
  4. KINGS OF LEON/Sex On Fire (Only By The Night)
  5. BECK/Gamma Ray (Modern Guilt)
  6. THE BREAK AND REPAIR METHOD/You Won’t Be Able To Be Sad (You Won’t Be Able To Be Sad)
  7. DOES IT OFFEND YOU, YEAH/Epic Last Song (You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into)
  8. THE MATCHES/Wake The Sun (A Band In Hope)
  9. BLACK KIDS/I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You (Partie Traumatic)
  10. THE WHIGS/Right Hand On My Heart (Mission Control)
  11. THE KILLERS/Human (Day And Age)

Have a great week, and as always, THANKS for listening!!

BLOC PARTY for Feature Artist Thursday!!

Wow...today is sounding so good on RADIO FREE CRUZE!!  (I know, we're modest, aren't we?)

Anyway, we're featuring BLOC PARTY as our Feature Artist of the Day.  We do a different artist every Thursday, and mix as much of their musical goodness (the hits, deeper tracks, remixes, live cuts, etc.) into our normal mix of New Rock , Indie, and Alternative that we possibly can!

BLOC PARTY have just released their latest album INTIMACY digitally through their website, and it will be released in stores in CD form in October.

I really like the new disc.  INTIMACY seems to take the best components of SILENT ALARM and A WEEKEND IN THE CITY and meld them into one cohesive piece.  JACKNIFE LEE produced, and he seems perfect for capturing the soul and the vibe of the band.

Enjoy the tracks!!  CLICK HERE to listen live!!
