I know I'm going to get some flak for this episode, because there will undoubtedly be people who don't actually listen to what I'm saying about comic book plots normally being less "one-dimensional" than government propaganda.  Right wingers will probably just accuse me of "giving comfort to the enemy."  But that's exactly what I'm talking about.  I'm not upset because I don't think that Batman (or whomever) should be kicking Al Qaeda's ass--that's actually not a bad idea.  What's bad is that I'm used to comic books, as crazy as this sounds, having more three-dimensional plots, instead of just buying into the Government's jingoistic point of view.  If this comic had come out in 2002, it could have been "Batman Finds Weapons Of Mass Destruction."  But of course, he wouldn't have, because they weren't there!!

Anyway, I'll apologize right here for getting political...it really started out as just my disappointment in writer FRANK MILLER, who should know better than to write this kind of a BATMAN story.  But despite all of this, the music on Episode 29 is really fantastic!  Check it out:

Well, as promised, here it is:  the first "SPECIAL EDITION" of Radio Free Cruze.  This is a little like returning to my roots, as I was a dj and "turntablist" at an Alternative Dance Club a number of years ago.  It's easy and fun to settle back down into the beats again, so I had a blast putting this show together--I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

This should be the first of a number of "Special Edition" shows here at Radio Free Cruze.  My plan is that these shows will always be an "extra" so you'll get the normal show each week, and any Special Edition would be a bonus.  That way if you like it, great!  If the Special Edition in question is not your cup of tea, you'll still have a "normal" episode that week.

Back on the regular schedule this week, and it just so happens to be "POOP WEEK," thanks to a UK Zoo.  I think we should celebrate it world-wide, as there's just never too many chances for poop jokes!

Am I the only one that's not too excited about the Olympics?  They are all over TV and I couldn't be less interested!  I actually feel a little bad admitting that--it's like I'm SUPPOSED to be interested, but I'm really just not.  Oh well...
